Gabriella is the founder of Experimentalista, a novel type of nomadic and creative office specialized in cities. She was also Chief Creative Officer of Mexico City, and the founder of Laboratorio para la Ciudad, the creative think-tank of Mexico City from 2013 to 2018. As director of the Lab, she headed a transdisciplinary team – from urban geographers, lawyers and political scientists to artists, historians, architects and philosophers, amongst others – to help tackle urban challenges and explore novel possibilities in the context of one of the most complex and fascinating cities in the world. She is a journalist, visual artist, and documentary film director, as well as creative advisor to several cities, universities and companies, with many international awards. She is also a Visiting Professor of Practice at UCL's Institute of Innovation and Public Purpose, and the (soon to be) founder of The Institute for Everything In-Between.
