Laureline is the founder and director of One Resilient Earth in Germany, an NGO that builds resilience to climate change impacts through projects weaving together science, art, ancient wisdom and new technologies. After supporting women-led reconstruction projects in villages in India, she worked on large biodiversity conservation projects in South Asia, and then led a research program on adaptation to climate change in sub-Saharan Africa. At the UN Climate Change Secretariat, she coordinated activities related to knowledge management and stakeholder engagement, helped set up the Local Communities and Indigenous Peoples’ platform, supported a task force on population displacements, and coordinated a collective intelligence process on long-term resilience.
